Hi there,

The IAC can be removed and cleaned. If the engine starts and idles better then the computer is not the problem. If there is a code for the IAC I would start with that and see where it leads. Cleaning it is the best first step. Also realize that other things can cause the IAC issue. If there is a vacuum leak and the engine speed is higher then it should be, the computer is going to set a code for the IAC.
