I have a 2000 Nissan Altima which has a check engine code P0300. what would something like this cost to be repaired. and what would be the cheapest way to go about getting it repaired. everytime Advance Auto hook up the machine to read the code my vehicle won't start what could be the cause of that and how could I fix it

Hi there,

This code is usually the result of a faulty mass air flow sensor or the front O2 sensor. Either of these could cause a multiple misfire code and a lean fuel mixture code. Since the engine doesn't like to restart once the codes are cleared, I suspect the issue is with the mass air flow sensor.
