P0340 2002 Ford F150 -this failing sensor could cause to start a fire ?

Check engine light went on. Check code today and is
P0340. Can someone tell me what it is? Also
Was drivin the truck and caught on fire,
Is this sensor failing caused this or thats something else??

If the car caught of fire its possible wiring harness and other part might be damaged.

The camshaft position sensor uses a magnet reading, you'll have to check the wiring.
