My Toyota generated a 2 fault codes:

P0A09 - Hybrid DC/DC Converter failure. The advice from the garage is that I need new unit.
P2118 - Throttle. Advice from the garage is that this MIGHT need replacing.

The car will start, but it will not drive.

I am thinking that the P2118 might be because of the Hybrid DC/DC inverter issue but I am not sure.

Could someone advise on this please. Its an expensive job if I have to replace the two items.

Thank you in advance.

Regards

Jay

The inverter is probably the first thing to replace if its not working correct it could be causing other problems.

I think the part is over $3000 and the labor is like 3 hours.

The throttle body is over $900 and 2 hours of labor

you can check the fuse for P2118

I would suggest you think about selling the car if I had to spend over $3k on my car I would highly consider it also since the car is a 2005 there is also the possibility of the battery going battery in the near future, maybe trade it into a small dealer and buy a car from them.
