1994 mitsubishi 3000 p0001 fuel

I have a 1994 mitsubishi 3000 that is stallinq at red lights and qoes if i feather the pedal. I used a scan tool and it came up p0001 fuel volume regulator. Could this be my problem or is it a false read?
