i have a code p0700

my 99 honda prelude jus recently poped up a code p0700 but no other codes r shown... my tranny shifts by it self... feels like its slippin, thats not the problem... im thinking its a solenid but not sure.... need help?

Hi there,

This code only means the transmission control module is requesting the check engine light to come on. This means the TCM has to be scanned for codes. Then you will find out what you need to do to the transmission.
