2004 nissan sentra, 109000miles, service engine light on,codes p1148 and p1031, a bit vibrating when start, runs well. Changed spark plugs for code p1041 (miss-fire) 30 days ago.

Hi there,

Both codes point to a problem with the front O2 sensor on the car. The 1031 indicates an issue with the sensor heater itself and the 1148 means the car is not achiving closed loop operation because of it. You should be able to replace the front sensor to resolve the problem. This is the one you can see in the exhaust manifold.
