I have this code p2563 along with p0279 that just showed up today. Engine light came on but truck seems to be operating fine. Does the outside temperature play any part. It is 7- degrees F.
How do I fix this and will driving it prior to fixing cause any problems?

P2563 Turbo charger boost control position sensor A circuit range / perfromance

P0297 Vehicle overspeed condition

The turbo charger  temperature does play a major if the temperature exceeds 145 C ( 293 F) this code will set, until the temperature is less than 135 C ( 275 F).  and temperature is -7 F. . P2563 should be with a turbo charger boost control circuit code or a performance or boost  low voltage, or a temperature too high. This could just have been a bind , With P0297 the actuator did bind that cause P2563, The tubes for the turbo may have plugged due to the temperature causing more back pressure
