P0300 Chevy-Silverado.they say the engine seized..but it was running perfectly before it stalled

I wanted to know if it is possible that the engine did not seize

It possible that the engine did not siezed, there been incident where a starter has fallen apart in its housing, that may exhibit a locked engine, just because it could be turned by hand. it might just be better to have the starter removed and check by turning the engine using the main pulley.
