Is there a book or pamphlet that shows where all sensors are located on a particular vehicle in order to physically locate it after the scanner has identified it? Mine happens to be a 1/2 ton 1500 Silverado, 5.3. Thanks in advance.

Yes you can get this from a manual such as haynes, mitchel , or any repair guide.
