P0304 Volkswagen 1998 beetle

Question

Checked spark on 1 & 4 at a idle. Both seemed strong. Compression on both 1 & 4, 125 psi.plug on 4 seems a little dirty but fired when checked out of the cylinder. Any ideas????

P0304 Misfire number 4 cylinder

Ignition coil. Having a spark check when it is outside the cylinder is different when it is in the cylinder there the spark has to overcome compression and fuel mixture, this is where a igntion analyzer comes in handy, if you have another known working igntiion coil you can try another coil.
