Light came on for p0089 on my Volvo s40 2.4i.......No sure to change regulator or the sensor on the fuel rail? I will be doing the work myself but am a Honda tech not a Volvo tech haha...any suggestions or tips going forward with this problem? I also got a code for p0091...Thanks and hope to hear from you.
Both codes are related to the fuel pressure, the fuel pressure sensor and map sensor need to be checked first there is a service bulletin for bad map sensors so that might be a good idea to replace fuel pressure will have to be checked near the fuel rail
fuel pressure should be around 55 psi at idle (a/c off)
