how to fix or repairfuel filler cap.

Upon further inspection of code p0455, my 06 chev impala ss fuel filler cap wont fully close. Is there a way
to repair it? It stays half open and half closed.

Vehicle: 06 chevrolet impala ss 5.3

Fuel caps are sealed and can not be repair. Most fuel caps are about $15-$20.
