Silverado duramax diesel. Engine light comes on for the MAP code. It's OK. how do I erase the code

Actron on their website has  the manual that can be downloaded

To rease the code the engine should not be running , with Key on Engine Off , hold the erase key,for at least 3 seconds then release the erase key.  a message should appear to confirm erase, then hold the erase key again.
