P0401, P0102, P0402, P1237

Question

2002 Ford Focus SE 2L SOC. P0401, P0102, P0402, P1237all came up. The engine would unpredictably die then could restart. Now won't start at all. The fuel pump is 2 years old.

P1237 Fuel pump secondary circuit fault

Ford has a TSB about this condition which occurs in wet weather or a carwash.where water may have ingestation into the EVR (Electric vacuum regulator) for the EGR which causes it to run rough TSB # 03-15-2 what this is about is sealing the EVR and DPFE  from water. P1237 there is a fuel pump relay swap it it out with another
