P0420 2007 Toyota Camry -

My Toyota 2007 shows check engine and VSC LIGHT and it was diagnosis as po420 error code. The car is doing well at slow running but it jerks when I want to accelerate. It also does not start easily in the morning.

HI there,

This code, P0420 is for the bank 1 catalytic converter working below threshold.  Basically it's saying it isn't cleaning the exhaust well enough. However, with the jerking under acceleration it sounds like you have a misfire happening under acceleration. This can set off the converter code. I would start with a tune up, solve the misfire problem then clear the codes and it may resolve the problem with the converter code as well.
