P0325 KIA - Rio 2004 replaced knock sensor but error code comes back

Question

The knock sensor was replaced today but the error codes comes back after driving like 3-4 miles.
Can the new knock sensor (bought it on ebay but it seems to be an original Kia part) be faulty?

Any suggested next steps?

P0325 Knock sensor circuit malfunction

What sets this code are from open circuit from the knock sensor or a insufficent torque, if it is too tight it becomes too sensitive if it is too loose it is not sensitive enough the torque secifications are 15-18 lb-ft (20-25Nm)
