2002 nissan maxima does not have a oil light. if you are seeing

the oil light sign below that means your oil pressure is oil, due to low oil, dirty oil or some other engine problem

if you have not replaced the oil in the last 4k miles, replace the oil and filter and use 5w-30 oil.

if the light comes back, the oil pressure sensor might be bad.
