nissan xterra 2010 obd system failure

Question

I bought this car with 170, 000 mileage.the only problem was transmission, which I fixed from a mechanic.
I went for inspection after driving 50 miles+ and they failed it saying OBD system is not ready.I went again after100 miles+ , they failed again saying the same issue.I drove more then 150 and went to my local mechanic to check if its ready, he says that its still not ready yet.can someone help.

Do you mean the emission systems are not completing? or do you have your engine light on?
