P0420 code for 2002 Toyota Camry SE, 3.0L detected.

Question

P0420 code for 2002 Toyota Camry SE was detected. Spark plugs along with coils, O2 knock sensor, air & oil filter were replaced. Do I need to replace the air fuel ratios when replacing both O2 sensors? Where can I get an eine control module, OEM type for cheap?

Hi there,

This code is for the bank 1 catalytic converter working below efficiency. This usually means you need to replace the cat on the car. The A/F sensors are the front O2 sensors, so if you only replaced the rear sensors then it's possible you need at least the front sensor on bank 1. Been my experience most of the time that you will have to replace the converter however.
