I had my transmission rebuilt by a reputable trans shop, while still under warranty the code 1740 shows up, so I go to the tranny shop explain the problem and he tries to sell me a heavier duty solenoid or something that would cost me about an additional $300.00 my question is shouldn't this be covered in the warranty? I had a complete tranny rebuild which cost $2600.00 am I getting the run around or what?
