P1720 Vehicle Speed Sensor

Question

Niissan Sylphy 2.0 XJ,came into workshop after a mechanic had serviced vehicle and filled atf instead of cvt .He realised the mistake after a day of driving and poor transmission.Drained and changed atf to cvt.We suspect he did not drain all especially in torque converter.Truely ,the two mixed form a new chemical with certain viscosity and properties so affecting or defeating the smooth clutching. Carman VCI codes P1720 Vehicle Speed Sensor ,CVT Safe Function and Step Motor in that sequence. How do we best rectify this?

The fluid will have the drained out a few times to make sure all the ATF fluid is out
