P0442 Jeep - From what I'm reading, I can certainly drive with this code up, correct?

Question

The engine light just came on and get the code P0442, evap emissions leak, medium. I checked the gas cap, it seems to be on there well. I haven't been able to reset the code since checking it. From what I've read, I can most certainly drive with this problem till I get it sorted out, correct?

A loose gas cap in most likely will reset the engine light if that was the problem not sure on the time frame the car will need to be sitting for some time so the computer and verify there is no pressure leaking.

You can also disconnect the battery for 30 min or so, if you dont mind the save radio stations getting reset.
