Hi, I have a Jeep Liberty 2007, 6 cilinders with a gas cap error

Question

Hi, my name is Gaby, I have a jeep liberty, 2007, 4 cilinders that recently is giving me the gas cap error with its respective engine light. I recently took it to get an oil change and they tried doing a diagnose on the engine but it just gave them 3 unknown results. The same day i bought a new gas cap, the car doesnt smell like gas at all and its giving me absolutely no problems beside these 2.
Any ideas?

You may want to get another fuel cap, sometimes new just does not work, and what where the codes?
