does this problem makes the car to consume more fuel? and what do be done

p2241 will cause more fuel to be used. 

Bank 1 sensor 1 may need to be replaced. 

see picture below (v6) bank 1 is toward the back of the engine near the firewall and sensor 1 in on the exhaust manifold
