Whenever the knock sensor codes, check the coolant for proper level, low coolant level that allow the engine to run hotter than it should  can also set a knock sensor code, Same as with the oil , The knock sensor has  to be properly torque the specification are 15- 18 ft lbs (20-25 Nm)
