P1062 BMW - what does it mean and price to fix thanks

hi i have a young family so any help to not get ripped off by local garages! i own a bmw 320i 2005 plate. Recently a engine symbol in yellow which is half full appeared on dash. the code means P1062. I have cleared the code twice but it comes back after 2 weeks or so and goes in limp mode. The engine sounds not right, abit rough or not balanced. Does anyone what this might be?

P1062 Valvetronic power limitation

This code condition is a request for a reduce mode or limp mode. The engine not sounding right , rough running , this is the reason for P1062,  Beside P1062 is there any misfire codes that have appeared with this.?
