car is still going to 3rd pull pan back off do a ohms test on wire harness or what???

Question

Why is transmission still going to 3rd after replacing shift solenoid A. I've checked connections but used same harness inside transmission. Please anyone know where's a good place to start diagnosis

P0748 Variable force solenoid

You can not just replace one solenoid , this is for the variable force  solenoid, this is cause by a open or short circuit, and the problem with this code condition is it goes into 3rd gear  abruptly when you least expect it., because this is a solenoid and if left unrepaired for some time it take out the TCM (Transmission control module) , Replace the whole assembly and do not be suprised it the TCM will need to be replaced.
