I got the code P1748 on my 2002 Land Rover Freelander SE 2.5L is this transmission module?

Engine service soon, scan by auto center results P1748 global OBDII or manufacturer controlled transmission (MCT) 2002 Land Rover Freelander SE 2.5L. Is this module or does it need transmission service only? Help

P1748  2/4 Brake duty solenoid

With this type of code condition what happens is a harsh shift and erratic shift from this code condition, What needs to be done prove that the transmission shows no burnt fluid condition, that there is no heavy sediment in the transmission pan that would indicate an internal transmission failure. You can just replace the 2/4 brake solenoid.
