P0304 Ford -

Question

2004 ford ranger 3.0 check engine light is on, changed plug wires and plugs, found that the coil is reversed from all information I have received. Meaning, from front of vehicle working back and from left to right the order is 4 3 6 2 5 1... Auto zone and every website says it should be
1 5 2 6 3 4... Has anyone come across this, when I get a misfire code on cyl 4 not sure if it cyl 1
Any ideas?

P0304 Misfire number 4 cylinder

Use the Tab on the coil for the orientation of where the coil pack is placed and the firing order from there. It gets confusing
