The check engine light was coming on intermittingly uphill and under load. I have changed HO2S sensor and EGR valve (codes 172 & 332), no change. Last code is 212-loss of ignition diagnostic monitor signal/SPOUT circuit grounded. Where are EEC-IV processor and TFI-IV monitor located, what do they look like, and what can I do?

212 Loss of ignition dignostic monitor input to PCM.

When you have a tingy noise this is termed a pinging noise what happening is either the timing is too advanced or the vehicle is overheating especially going uphill.  with code condition 212 this is the the ICM (igition control module) this is also known as the TFI module.
