fault code P0338

Question

Early 2006 kia optima with 2.4 4 cyl eng. Fault code p0338. Changed crankshaft position sensor along with timing belt idlers & water pump. Eng. cranks but will not start.

HI there,

Check and make sure you didn't get the reluctor on backwards, you can do that on this engine and you won't start and will still get the code for the crank sensor.
