THE "CHECK ENGINE LIGHT" HAS BEEN ON FOR SOMETIME IT DOESN'T APPEAR TO AFFECT THE PERFORMANCE. WILL IT DAMAGE THE CAR TO CONTINUE DRIVING THE CAR WITH THE LIGHT ON?

HI there,

It will not damage anything to drive with this code. Eventually though you may see performance issues because you could have issues with the mass air flow sensor.
