2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT 4.2L with engine code P0463 and P0300

Question

I have a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer EXT 4.2L and I have the check engine light on with two codes P0463 and P0300. I'm losing horse power dramatically when I hit the gas. When i go high speeds, my check engine light flashes. What can it possibly be?

The P0463 is for the fuel level sending unit. In most cases you will need to replace the fuel level sensor in the tank.

The P0300 is a multiple misfire code. This explains the rough running and loss of power. This is usually the result of faulty ignition coils or plug wires. A simple tune up might resolve this problem.
