P0121 2007 chevy silverado

Question

My check engine light came on and when i scan it i get a "PO121 throttle pedal position sensor a circuit range performace" code. I replaced the throttle pedal with the sensor built on it. The next day my light was back on showing the same code. I'm at a lose here. Any advice or tips would be much appreciated. Thanks

change the throttle body .it has a built in tps

no you can't and after change it you have to reprogram it

Can I change just the tps without changing the entire throttle body?
