shifting from 1st to 2nd

the above does not inform me if this is normal after correcting the code P0496. 2009 gmc yukon. P0496 code was showing, this was corrected, then car began to pull hard from 1st to 2nd.

what was the issue with P0496? Its possible there is an intake leak from a loose or broken hose
