How far does my checy need to be driven after changing out the part before I can get it inspected?

if you reset the engine light, I would try to drive at least 20 miles

10 miles on the freeway at 60mph

10 miles regular city driving

this works on most cars, unless the engine light comes back on then you will have to fix the issue, if you have an obd-II you can check the emission readiness status
