hello , I ordered a devective headlight but claims will not return it unless i can provide a code , NOTbeing A JAGUAR dealor I am looking for the correct code

I have not heard of a "code" for bad headlight, the engine light turns on when there is an issue with the engine, transmission, abs and etc.

if you bought it on ebay or paid with paypal file a claim
