why does my check engine light come on after driving over 90 miles.

Question

after driving many miles the check engine light comes on. i erase the code easily and do not have a problem until i drive distance again. using my hand scanner it presents the code P0193

P0193 Fuel rail pressure circuit high input

This can just be a intermittent condition, Circuit high code condition usually if it is a hard code comes right away, when you clear a CK ENG LT and the CK ENG light does not come right away this is a soft code, or a intermittent code condition, The ECM is constanty looking for open circuit, short circuit, grounds, rationality,irrationality,These would code right away. In your case since this is a intermittent condition .
