P0455 - cadallac escalade

*strong text My tighten fuel cap came on then the engine light it came up P0455. I replaced the fuel cap, bought it from dealership. Not the problem. What can I look for now? I really don't have money right now for the smoke test. * How will I know if I have a clogged hose or clogged solenoid?? Sorry don't mean to sound dumb, I'm a lady just not sure.

I would start by checking the engine bay EVAP hoses for cracked or broken hoses, if there is nothing there check under the car near the gas tank for the same things 

the problem is either a  cracked  or broken and or clogged hose or a clogged solenoid.
