2000 nissan altima 2.4 eng no spark to plugs

I could not pull diagnostic code;s through test socket but was able to pull from computer through engine light . whats the cause of this?

Hi there,

On these the issue is usually the distributor. If you remove the distributor cap and rotor, then remove the plastic cover under the rotor, there may be oil inside. If there is oil then the distributor needs to be replaced.
