Need assitance with P0012 & P0015 codes on 07 X3 3.0

When deleted the engine runs fine, when these codes are displayed the engine runs rough

Can somebody give me an input on this issue?

when the code comes on the engine goes to fail safe mode to pervent damage to the engine. If you have not replaced the oil in the last 5k miles, dirty oil could be causing the problem change the oil and oil filter using the correct weight of oil.

if the problem is still there the Vanos seals might be bad
