I have a 2010 SRX, the only real symptom is the engine light and an occasional hesitation on acceleration. Less likely to happen after the car is warm. I have changed all crankshaft sensors. There are 4. I am still getting the code, the obvious issues are not my problem like low or dirty oil. I am puzzled of the other potential problems. Is it possible that it is the timing belt jumped, or the position piece on the shaft has moved? I would expect either of those options to cause the vehicle to run poorly. I intend to take it to the dealer next Wed, I would rather handle it myself if I knew what to try next but I am just not sure what to expect.

P0017 Crankshaft position - Exhaust camshaft position not plausible Bank 1

This is what to expect a loose timing chain or tensioner, or the reluctor pressed onto the crankshaft has moved and this where the crankshaft will need to be replaced. Cadillact has produced a TSB about this code condition TSB # PIP3423K.
