Hi everyone. car is 2ltr sportage xse 4wd 16v dohc 2002 model
I thought i would pop a few codes that my computer has picked up via my obd 2 reader.
1/ Unknown Diagnostic code P1611 (Pending)
2/ P0130 02 Sensor circuit bank 1 sensor
3/ P0134 02 sensor circuit no activity detected
4/ P0135 sensor heated circuit bank 1 sensor
5/ P0171 system too lean bank 1
Also came up with Fuel system fault open loop? what does this mean.
I have replaced with brand new
The throttle position sensor
The idle circuit valve
The maf sensor
After replacing these (items above) it started to run better and stop revving itself up.
The top 02 sensor with a new one
After replacing the 02 sensor it ran fine for 66 miles then on came the engine light (again), the battery is getting really hot due to the engine running lean (I think).
Can anybody help me with these as my patience and money has ran out with this car and i feel like taking it for a ride with a can of petrol and some matches and saying goodbye to it.
The sensor was a generic one which i was informed by the seller on ebay was the correct 1 for the car as long as the wire colours were the same as the one he was selling ie 2 white 1 grey and 1 black one.
I did find that the wiring loom were it comes into the engine bay virtually opposite the top cat had burned through the outer shielding and was making the internal part of the loom get very hot, so i bought some fibre glass wrapping and wrapped it up against the heat of the cat.

P1611 Request MIL circuit low

P0130 H02S circuit malfunction Bank 1 Sensor 1

P0134 H02S circuit no activity Bank 1 Senosr 1

H02S heater circuit malfunction Bank1 Sensor 1

P0171 Fuel trim system too lean

Fuel system fault open loop, what this mean is the ECM uses the 02 sensor for fuel control without a activie working 02 sensor , the ECM uses default fuel management strategy it subsitutes a 02 value to stay in fuel control, You definetly do not have a properly working 02 sensor, this is the upstream 02 sensor. For P0171 this is a lean fuel condition check for vacuum leak , vacuum leak as air the gets past the MAF (Mass air flow) and is unaccounted .For  P1611 this is a circuit low between the TCU (transmission control unit) and the ECM.or a short to ground between the ECM and TCU.With P1611 test the charging system a good battery should measure above 12.5 volts and at idle you should be 2 volts above battery voltage.
