I have a 2004 Ford Explorer that has a p0745 transmission code and the OD light is also blinking on and off is there a simple fix or does it need a new transmission?

Vehicle: 2004 Ford Explorer 4.0 v6

yes it can be fixed. check pressure solenoid for resistance,continunity, or do a voltage drop at solenoid
