Question

2011 gmc truck stalled. Restarts and runs 5 minutes and stalls again. Error code is P0601. Any suggestions on how to fix this truck that continues to stall about every 5 minutes and idles slightly rough.

P0601 Control module read only memory performance

This code condition it can be from a internal failure of the control module or incomplete reprograming. This code if it is from the the the Fuel pump pressure control module or the ECM or TCM it does necessarily stall you out. Have this vehicle check for a Recall Campaign 11273B this is for the throttle position sensor.
