I have a 2001 vw cabrio. I started having problems starting my car about 2 months untill it wouldent start at all. had starter replaced and new ignation switch instaled. this seemed to solve my problem, however about a week later, i started to have simler problem. Car would start and shut of immediatly , I continue to have this problem, sometimes it will start up right away and after driving, turn car off and have difficulty getting it started again. Ihad a dignostic test and code p1128 came up, which stated it could be several things, there was only one thing I dont know what faulyy ho225 bank 1 is, can you tell me what that is, also what causes low fuel presure ? as that is also one of potintial problems. My main question through is can any of thes problems cause my car to start and shut off immediatley? I should also mention thatI have 2 sets of keys, I started using my spar key to get my car started this seems to work more often then my main key that I have always used in the past, that key will no longer start my car at all, however after getting my car started and letting it run for awile, Ill turn it off and try my other key and it will work. Makes no sense to me. If you could answeres any of these problems are splutions I would be very greatfull as this has been going on for quit some time, iam very frustrated and confused.

P1128 Long fuel trim too lean

You have a lean running condition, this can be from false air that gets past the MAF (mass air flow) , or the PCV system. and even a broken dipstick funnel. A lean condition can also code a 02 sensor code condition where the 02 sensor can not manage fuel control for the engine, as the 02 sensor max out its abilty to control fuel control it codes up , and as a result you have the 02 sensor code, As for low fuel pressure yes this can also cause this condition, low fuel pressure are cause by fuel filter being pluggged ,The first inspection to do is look for a vacuum leak which can cause so much problem with this vehicle.
