SES came on Sunday morning ... running rough, loss of power.
Took it to mechanic Monday for an Oil Change and scan - showed P0202 - they cleaned injector and said it works and fires OK.
Scan also showed P0302 - misfire ... recommended a tune up.
Cost was $211

SES still on.
3 days later took it in for a tune up ... Scanned again ... Said it requires a #2 Injector (the one they cleaned and said it worked and fired OK ... ???)
Cost was $579

SES back on.
4 days later took it in to replace #2 Injector
Cost was $233

Next morning SES light is on again. I've noticed the engine cranks longer to start so my command start is not working well but otherwise it was running good. Driving tonight I discover I have NO high beams, NO dash lights and NO delayed light after shut off. I wonder what else doesn't work??

This has become a nightmare!! Do I take it back AGAIN so they can 200 dollar me again??

Help Please!!

I am a 63 year old widow on a pension ... I cannot afford this. What should I do???

P0302 Misfire number 2 cylinder

P0202 injector circuit number 2

A failed fuel injector P0202 will also code a P0302, On a Ford vehicle the connecting tab to the fuel injector comes loose very easy and the locking tabs break very easy So usually a zip tie securing the fuel injector satisfies the condition if this is caused by a loose connection. If the cranking is longer than usuall and drive and accelerates fine the IAC (idle air control) is suspected. As for the light when the high beams are non operation and dash light are non operational, the light switch will have to inspection for proper operation. This is 2 seperate issue that happens a misfire and a lighting problem
