Trans has been rebuilt. All sensors replaced. Still has a P0770 CEL code. Could there be a short in the PCM...or is it in the wiring harness somewhere????

P0770 Shift solenoid "E"malfunction (shift solenoid valve SL)

This is can be a wiring issue with the shift solenoid, that or the valve body or even the torque convertor, what happens is during the toque convertor lock up the solenoid is either off due circuit problem or just stuck closed, This type of code is usually not the PCM being at fault, even if the solenoid in the transmission was replaced you are still dealing with either a problem with the vavle body or the torque convertor.
