code p0402 on a 2001 ford escape

I had a complete tune up done egr valve vacuum hose top of egine done. 3 coil packs and now reads p0402 what is wrong

Hi there,

This code is usually caused by a defective DPFE sensor on the egr tube from the egr to the exhaust manifold. There is a recall for this item and it should be tested by the dealer.
